It is conducted by a board, appointed by the Board of Education. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jun 17, 1920.

- Booklet published on the occasion of the eighty second anniversary of the Detroit News and the opening of the new Detroit Free Press building, designed by Albert Kahn, in 1913. The front cover features an embossed image of a man with a quill writing on a scroll with a city skyline behind him and the words "A Record of Progress." The words "Eight-Two Years a Newspaper" are embossed in gold underneath the image, and text reading "The Detroit Free Press 1913" is located on the bottom left. The inside of the booklet features 32 pages recounting, as indicated by the first page, "A Short Story of Eighty-Two Years of the greatest daily Newspaper of the Middle West commemorating the Opening of the New Home of The Detroit Free Press." The booklet also features numerous black and white photographs of the interior rooms of the building and portrait depictions of the Executive Staff and the Editorial Staff. The center of the booklet features a two page spread of a hand-colored photograph of the Counting Room. The copyright statement on the last page reads "Designed and Executed Complete by The Franklin Press Detroit."
