- One tax receipt, dated December, 14, 1871, issued by the Wayne County Treasurer's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that the Richmond & Backus Company paid $9.32 for state and county taxes on property located in the Brush Farm Subdivision, namely, "Lot 3, Blk. 1." The receipt was signed by "James Collins, Dty. [Deputy] County Treasurer."

- Trade card from the Michigan Stove Company, in the shape of a painter's palette, advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. On the recto is an illustration of a single-masted ship sailing on green waters, with four daubs of paint in the upper left corner of the palette. "Garland Stoves and Ranges" is printed at the top of the recto.

- Print containing six engravings, taken from the booklet, Souvenir of Detroit & Exposition, depicting residences and buildings in Detroit. At the top left is the residence of ex-governor Russell A. Alger. The Parker Building on Woodward Avenue and State Street is at the upper right. The residence of former governor and senator Henry P. Baldwin is in the center on the left side. To its right is the residence of Charles H. Smith. The home of Wells W. Leggett is at the bottom left. Senator Thomas W. Palmer's home is at the bottom right.

- One promissory note, dated November 13, 1869, that was issued by the Richmond & Backus Company. It was printed in black text on white paper. The note terms were handwritten in black ink text and indicated that $250 was to be paid to John C. Worthington on May 13, 1871, at the Second National Bank of Detroit. A handwritten endorsement on the verso indicated that the note was assigned to Rev. George Worthington.

- Description:
- Contract between Finzel's Orchestra and Wolff and Son Pro. Bellers Garden for the services of sixteen musicians at the amusement park for at least fourteen weeks beginning May, 19, 1906, dated March 1st. The contract is in black printed ink on yellowed paper and has been filled in by typewriter. It stipulates a payment of $295 for six days week plus an extra $33 when they play all seven days. The contract is signed by Maurice Wolff. "Please sign and return this duplicate," is printed in the bottom left corner and a dotted black line at top suggests it was a piece of a larger perforated sheet of paper. "Wolf [sic] Park 1906," is handwritten on the verso.

Printed text beneath the "Explanations" section on the lower left side of the map shows "Surveyor General's Office, Detroit, November 5, 1849. Lucius Lyon, Sur'r Gen'l." and "Lith. by E. Weber & Co., Balto."

The diploma certificate is printed in black ink on very yellowed paper and shows an engraved drawing of a Lady Liberty figure who is surrounded by four men that represent seafarers/shipping, business, farming, and industrial trades. Decorative script text shows "Business Colleges" and "This Diploma certifies that Henry T. Hunt has completed the prescribed course at this Institution and that his attainments entitle him to the consideration of the Business Community. Issued by the Detroit Business University at the City of Detroit, Michigan, this 27th day of April AD 1885. W. F. Jewell, Principal."
