- Color postcard depicting Washington Boulevard from Michigan Avenue, facing north. In view are the Hotel Statler, David Whitney Building, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Alexander Macomb Monument, a fountain, and signs reading "Edison" and "Reliable". Printed on verso: Washington Boulevard extends from Michigan Avenue to Grand Circus Park. It was one of the principal residence streets, but on account of the rapid growth of Detroit, it is now being turned into a business thoroughfare. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 19, 1915.

- Sepia-toned photographic print depicting four buildings on West Adams Street as viewed from the edge of Grand Circus Park. The Crystal Shoppe in the Park Building, the Ross Fur Company, a Second Empire-style building with only a sign reading, "Must Move, 30% Off on all Wallpaper," and the corner of the Fine Arts Building are all pictured. The visible portion of the Fine Arts Building includes signs for the Adams Theatre, Dr. Hubbell, Dr. White, Dr. Ranny, Dr, Parker, and Dr. W.C. Reid the dentist. The marquee of the Adam's Theatre advertises the Constance Talmadge film Dangerous Business. A row of automobiles are parked along Adams street and a man is working under the hood of the central one. "Nov. 29 - 20" and "38788" are printed in the lower right corner. "Manning Bros. Inc., Commercial Photographers, 333 State St. Room 505, Detroit, Michigan" is stamped on the verso. "W. The map is printed in black ink on white paper and shows the principal meridian and base line for the public land survey of the state along with township boundaries as well as township and range numbers. - One 2-page letter, dated July 12th 1905, to "O.E.D. [Oliver E. Dunbar]" from "H.T.D. [Harris T. Dunbar]." The letter is handwritten in black ink on white linen paper (both sides) that has pre-printed light blue lines. The letter is transcribed as follows: "O.E.D. The numbers on the house safe are 40-60-35. The D&S bonds are in the upper left hand space - You will find space where you sign and on numbers 7, 14, 21, & 28 you sign twice - You can take those four with you if you desire or leave them in the safe. You will find directions on my desk to open D&S safe if you wish to get in it. Don't let Julia see these bonds. H.T.D." "July 12th /05 Recd. of O. E. Dunbar the four above mentioned bonds numbered 7-14-21-28 which I am to put in safety deposit vault at Manufacturers & Traders Bk. L.H. Page 17 contains an article, "Detroit, Michigan: Facts About a Busy City," containing information about the City of Detroit at that time, including sections about "Railroad Facilities," "Banking Capital," "Iron and Steel," "Lumber," "Michigan Car Company," "Detroit Car Wheel Company," "Detroit Pipe and Foundry Company," and "Detroit Iron Furnace Company." Page 18 contains five etchings, representing "One of the Great Industries of Detroit Illustrated.-From Sketches by C. Upham." The captions for the five etchings are as follows: 1. Michigan Car Company's Shop. 2. Detroit Car Wheel Foundry. 3. Detroit Pipe Foundry. 4. Baugh Steam Forge Company. 5. General View of the Plant of These Establishments.
