- Dr. Howard Maxwell, a member of the Physics Department at Kalamazoo College, discusses the principles behind the atomic bomb in an interview with Dr. Willis Dunbar. Maxwell begins by describing molecules and atoms, and lays out the theory behind nuclear fusion and the use of cyclotrons. - Henrietta Bosch lived in Grand Haven all her life. In this interview, Henrietta shares stories about growing up prior to and during the Great Depression. She remembers fishing with her father on the Grand River, attending school through the eighth grade, and working at Miller's Dairy on Fulton Street until she married in 1938. She recalls living in an apartment house, which was demolished for the construction of the Community Center, the effect the Depression had on her family and their battle with scarlet fever. She also talks about the birth of the Wildrom triplets and other hospital experiences.
