Burchfield, program chairman of the Kalamazoo branch of the American Association of University Women, discusses estate planning with Winfield Hollander, vice-president of First National Bank in Kalamazoo. Hollander says that the goal of estate planning is to distribute the property and wealth of the benefactor in exactly the way they desire while protecting the estate from loss through excessive taxation. He also explains the role of executors in estates and the benefits of trusts.
