Notes:: Photograph of soldiers marching in formation on the Athletic Field on East Campus, Michigan College of Education. View is looking west. The Athletic Field was constructed on west side of the Michigan Central Railroad tracks and opened for baseball games in the Spring of 1914. It was later used as training field during World War 2 for the the V-12 program.

Notes:: Interior of the Gymnasium lower level featuring the unfilled swimming pool. The 52-foot pool was part of WSN’s expanding Athletics Physical Education program. Completed in 1908, the Gymnasium the first of two additions to the Administration Building.

Notes:: A leaf from Parliamentary Acts that were passed during the reign of William III of England. It was printed by the Executrix of Thomas Newcomb. They were printers to His Majesty, in 1695-1698 in London. The recto side of the page is marked as 737, and the verso side is marked as 738.

Notes:: From Martin Luther's German translation of the Bible, published at Wittenberg in 1584 by the heirs of Hans Krafft. This version of the Bible is as famous in Germany as the King James Version is in England. The type-face used in this printing is known as "Franktur." The recto side is marked as page 215 but the verso side has no page numbers.

Notes:: Liturgy O.C.S.O. was published by Gethsemani Abbey, Trappist, KY and edited by Father Chrysogonus Waddell from 1966-1999. The journal (at that time a newsletter) began after September 1965 meeting of the Liturgy Commission of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance to report progress in liturgical renewal after Vatican II.
