- Exterior front view of the facade of the Western Michigan University Administration Building (now Seibert Administration Building). The Administration Building was designed by architect Ralph R. Calder and built in 1952. Renamed the Seibert Administration Building in 1978, after Russell H. Seibert, former professor of History and Vice President.

- Photograph of Jean Lowrie in her office at the Western Michigan University School of Librarianship. Lowrie was hired in 1951 as a librarian for the campus school. She became faculty in the School of Librarianship in 1958 and served as head of that unit from 1963 to 1980. She retired from Western Michigan University in 1983.

- Studio portrait of Edith Eicher, faculty at Western Michigan College, from the 1954 Western Michigan College New Magazine. Edith Eicher was professor of English from 1925 to 1954. Eicher Hall, a residence building, was named in her honor.

Pruis place Dr. Seay's new doctoral hood about his shoulders. Dr. Seay was Dean of the College of Education at Michigan State University.

- Notes:
- Recently exchanged Russian prisoners of war from Germany enjoy a lunch in Petrograd which was hosted by Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna. The repatriation process allowed the Allied and Central Powers to exchange badly wounded or seriously ill soldiers who would otherwise be a burden on the captor nation. Russian Red Cross nurses care for the exchanged war prisoners.

- This drawing shows a French prisoner of war tied to a stake for some infraction of the camp regulations in a German POW camp. The prisoner was forced to stand for hours outdoors in all sorts of weather. The POW suffered from fatigue, sleep deprivation, and exposure from this kind of punishment.
