- British and Australian officers, on an excursion with their dogs from the prison camp at Afion Karahissar, pose for a photograph. They are wearing civilian clothing and the mountain that marks the city stands in the background. These POW's lived in the lower camp at Afion Karahissar.

- A British prisoner painted this general view of Kastamuni in January 1917. The image shows the tops of the the buildings, minarets, and the citadel on the hill, dominating the town, from surrounding fields. POW's practiced art work to fulfill their time and painted the scenes their encountered in Turkish prison camps.

- Max Reiser, a Swiss YMCA secretary, sits in the center (wearing the bowler hat) at a table with Russian POW's in the prison compound at Reichenberg. Reiser appears to have just distributed books to the prisoners, which were often in short supply in prison camps. The prison censor stamp indicates that the censor approved the photo on 17 April 1918.

- A secret photograph of dead Italian prisoners lying on the floor in the prison camp at Siegmundsherberg. The devastating effects of starvation can be seen by the protruding bones on these bodies. A repatriated POW smuggled this photograph into Switzerland during the war and it was used by the Italians to demonstrate the terrible conditions which existed in Dual Monarchy prison camps.

- Twelfth-century, French binding fragment presumed to be from the Bible of Stephen Harding. and Fragment is presumed to be from Dijon Bibliothèque Municipal MS. 12-13 (n.1), but could be from MS. 14-15 instead. No extant written evidence supports the claim that this fragment is from the Bible of St. Stephen except note on envelope (in storage) fragment originally enclosed in: "Fr. Basil. Parchment from the Bible of St. Stephen."

- Later inscriptions identifying the manuscript., Housed in a modern document holder with a mat frame (320 x 420 mm) and sealed behind plastic; one side visible only., Eleventh-century Catalonian legal document for the sale of a parcel of fortified land with 10 notarial signatures and name of the scribe., caroline miniscule, and Produced in Catalonia, probably 1046; date based on later inscription just below the main text in lead: "subirats vila franca del Renedy? Any [sp?] 1-46." Name of scribe written in the same hand as the main text: "MIRONIE bi qui ista castra francha rogitus scripsit et sub die et anno quod supra." Related to MS 121; Mirone is mentioned in both charters. In this charter, his surname is mentioned (Geribertus). Purchased by Special Collections, Waldo Library from the Mackus Company, Fairlawn Ohio, May 2004.

- The article "Paris 1871, Paris 1940" compares the victory and occupation of Paris during the Franco-Prussian war and then during World War II. Major landmarks of Paris in the photos include, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, and the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles.
