The two-page article "An diesem Tag begann der Zweifronten Krieg gegen USA!" addresses the issue of the newly emerging war between Germany and the United States, due to Germany's support for Japan. Notice the delay in reporting by the German press since this article was printed January 15, 1942 more than a month after Germany had officially declared war on the United States.
