- Liturgy O.C.S.O. was published by Gethsemani Abbey, Trappist, KY and edited by Father Chrysogonus Waddell from 1966-1999. The journal (at that time a newsletter) began after September 1965 meeting of the Liturgy Commission of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance to report progress in liturgical renewal after Vatican II. - British residents in Germany march to a detention camp as enemy aliens; these men would end up assigned to captivity in Ruhleben. Note that while some of the internees appear carefree about their situation (they probably expected a short war and minimal inconvenience), others are hiding their faces from the camera to avoid recognition.

- This photograph shows the city of Stamboul, including the Hagia Sophia, from the Galata Bridge. The Turks marched British prisoners captured at Gallipoli across this bridge in November 1915 to celebrate their victory against the failed Anglo-French assault on the Turkish Straits. Under international law, POWs were not to be used for such propaganda purposes.
