Oldsmobile cars featured including one parked in front of the garage door and other on the street. Two GMC service trucks are parked in front of the service center. House at 559 W. Michigan Avenue, just west, is also visible.

- Watermark on f. 7v, cropped and enlarged, from an early fifteenth-century manuscript of Nicholas of Lyra’s commentaries on nine Old Testament books, made for institutional use., 2 columns of 42-46 lines ruled in ink and written in cursive gothic book hand., and Written in Southern Germany, possibly Bavaria, in ca. 1450-1475 as indicated by the evidence of the watermark and script. The chained binding indicates it was in an institutional collection. Purchased by Western Michigan University’s Special Collections from Les Enluminures who procured it from a private North American collection.

- Nazi propaganda leaflet dropped on American troops. It uses the image of a young girl on the front to encourage fathers to come home. The back warns soldiers that they may never make it home to their wives, sweethearts, mothers, children and all that they will be able to give them will be unbearable grief.

- Allied propaganda leaflet dropped on Italian soldiers in order to inform them of how to say "I surrender" in English to the invading Allied troops. Also, included on the flyer is German directions to inform the German soldiers amongst the ranks of Italians.

- P. 268 "The dress of the Molláh, here introduced, imparts a fair idea of the gracefulness of Persian costume." The molláh is wearing the full length white cloak or aba (Vogelsang-Eastwood, p. 11) his green tunic is decorated with red bands. His turban is large made of patterned and plain white fabric, with some of the white fabric trailing behind. He wears the full beard and mustache typical to men of this region.

- View of Western State Normal School on Prospect Hill from Davis Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Designed by Battle Creek architect, Ernest W. Arnold, the Administration Building was completed and occupied in 1905. Two wings the Training School and the Gymnasium, were added in 1909 and later were renamed East Hall.
