- Built in 1871 and torn down July 30, 1923. Was located at the southwest corner of Allegan and Washington. The Woolworth building later stood on this site. This building was used as a temporary state office building while the present capitol was being erected. Three copies.

- Description:
- Photograph of Benton House, Lansing, with horse drawn carriage passing. Built by Bush, Thomas & Lee, opened in 1848 on the northwest corner of Washington Avenue and Main Street. It was the first brick building erected in Lansing. The hotel later became the Everett House. In 1900 the deteriorated hotel was razed and the property sold to R.E. Olds who built his residence on the site in 1903.

- Description:
- Photograph of the City Bookstore in Lansing, Michigan. Located on the southeast corner of Washington and Michigan avenues. Both buildings burned in 1871. Later this was the site of American State Savings Bank Building. Ted Foster used to stand in a wagon box in front of the second store and read the news from the Detroit papers which arrived by stagecoach between 4 and 5pm. via Jackson. Seven copies.

- Photograph of Original Presbyterian Church, Lansing. Located on southwest corner of Washington Avenue and Genesee Street. Built 1852. The first church bell in Lansing resided in it's belfrey in 1856. Occupied by Presbyterians until 1889 when they moved to a new building on the southwest corner of Capitol Avenue and Allegan Street. The First Baptist congregation worshiped in the building from 1892 until 1894 when their building was completed. This church burned in 1897. Four copies.
