The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a first floor plan view of the proposed addition. The drawing shows the locations of a store room, isolated ward, kitchen, pantry, dining room, central corridor, and an exterior porch with stairway. Building and room dimensions are also given on the drawing which is shown at a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet. Printed text in the lower right corner shows "Bldg. #209" and "P. E. File Nr. 4923."

- One architectural drawing entitled "Store House, Fort Wayne, Michigan, Office A.A.Q.M. [Acting Assistant Quarter Master], November, 1889." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a longitudinal cross-section view of the interior structural design of the fort Store House. The two-story building has a central staircase that connects the storage areas on the lower (basement/cellar), first floor, and upper levels. Trap doors are also indicated on the first floor and upper levels. Office areas are shown at each end of the building. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Separate details of the building cornice are shown at the top of the sheet at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left corner shows "Frederick D. Griffith, Pvte., Co. G, 23rd Infantry, Draughtsman. Dec., 1889." Printed text in the lower right corner shows "P. E. File Nr. 4476."

The two-story building had six windows, two doors, and a loading dock along the front. Small porches at each end of the building provided access to offices and issuing rooms. The building had storage areas on the lower (basement/cellar), first floor, and upper levels. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left corner shows "Frederick D. Griffith, Pvte., Co. G, 23rd Infantry, Draughtsman. Dec., 1889." Printed text in the lower right corner shows "P. E. File Nr. 4475."
