- Native American filmmaker Chris Eyre delivers a talk entitled "Breaking Through: An Insider's View of Independent Filmmaking." Eyre describes how he got his start in filmmaking, the nature of his creative process, career influences, and projects in the works. Eyre gives a perspective on Hollywood, independent films, and surviving in the market place while directing with an independent vision and describes the making of his award winning film "Smoke Signals." He also shows a video of the Native American band "Indigenous" that he produced and answers questions from the audience. Recording ends with drumming as the crowd disperses.
