- Two unidentified men in the chief's office at the new Station No. 1. The man at the desk may be Chief Hugh F. Fisher. Fisher succeeded Chief Paul Lefke, who retired in June of 1943. - A photograph of Chief Hugh F. Fisher and his wife Gertrude in front of one of two John Bean high pressure fog trucks used by the Lansing Fire Department. The truck is parked inside on the apparatus floor of Station No. 1 and surrounded by many floral arrangements.
