- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Stearn [Stern] Post for Steamer No. 7." The drawing shows profile and end views of the stern post configuration for the proposed steamship, William Chisholm. The drawing was prepared by the Globe Iron Works of Cleveland, Ohio, at a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot and is dated December 29, 1883.

- One navigational chart entitled, "Chart of St. Clair Flats Showing the Positions of Light House & Beacon Now in Course of Erection and the Channel Excavated in 1857 & 1858," that was prepared under the direction of Capt. W. W. Whipple of the Corps of Engineers. The survey was drawn by James T. Baker in October, 1852. Another note at the far right side of the chart shows "Copy, Bureau of Topl. Engrs., Nov. 10th, 1858" and is signed "J. C. Woodruff, Capt, Topl. Engrs., Asst. to Bureau." The chart is drawn at a scale of 3:16,000 and shows the area at the outlet of the South Pass (South Channel) of the St. Clair River which flows into Lake St. Clair. The chart is drawn in black ink on slightly yellowed paper and shows shorelines, water depths in feet, several depth contour lines, navigational channels, a north arrow and magnetic north, St. Clair Lighthouse and Beacon, and channel spar buoys. Printed text in the upper right corner shows "Sen. Ex. Doc. No. 1 - Ho. Ex. Doc. No. 2, 2nd Sess., 35th Cong." Printed text in the lower right corner shows "C. B. Graham, Lith."

- One blueprint drawing entitled "Hull No. 187, Upper Deck Joiner Plans" that shows a plan view of the interior space layout of the proposed passenger steamship, City of Detroit III. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing (no. 28) was prepared by the "American Ship Building Co." It was drawn at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated May 6, 1911.

- One stock certificate No. 105 for 258 shares in the Abbey Effevescent Salt Company that was issued to "Dunbar and Sullivan." The certificate, dated 11th March 1909, is printed in black text on white paper and has a decorative border. The paper has a shield watermark near the lower right corner. The certificate has been signed by the company secretary and president and is embossed with the company seal.

- One drawing entitled "Design of Motor Launch No. 8 for the U. S. Lake Survey." The plan is drawn in black ink on linen at a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot and is dated December, 1912. This sheet shows plan, profile, and cross section for a proposed 21.5 foot long, wooden-hulled motor launch. The title block in the lower right corner shows the plan was "Prepared under the direction of Lieut. Col. J. C. Sanford, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A."

- One drawing entitled "St'r. [Steamer] No. 46, Craig Ship B'ld'g. Co." The drawing is done in black ink on linen. It shows an interior profile view of the hull and a plan view of the main deck of the proposed wooden-hulled tugboat. The drawing was prepared by the Craig Ship Building Company of Toledo, Ohio. It is shown at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated February 13, 1891. Handwritten text within a black ink stamp near the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 46-S9-0-1, Tube No. 1."

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Main Truss, Mexican River Steamer." The drawing shows a port side interior profile view of the internal structure of the hull of the sternwheel river steamship. The title block indicates that the plan was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated January, 1902. The name, "H. S. Taft," is also shown and may be the name of the steamship.

The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows hull/deck cross section views for the layout of the steering cable and sheaves in the vicinity of the pilothouse. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot and is dated July 15, 1913. The plan number is shown as "2350."

- One softcover booklet entitled "Summer Days on the Route of Star-Cole Red and White Star Lines' Steamers." The booklet has a dark brown cover with embossed title text and contains 89 pages of black printed text on white paper. It shows the timetable, route map, and fares for the Star-Cole steamships from Toledo to Port Huron and return. Steamships on these routes included the SS Greyhound, SS Darius Cole, SS City of Toledo, and SS Idlewild. Many short articles give descriptions of points of interest and activities. Black and white photographic images and advertisements are shown with the text. The booklet was published by the Thomas Smith Press of Detroit and was dated 1898.
