- Color postcard depicting a many people on bridge over a canal on Belle Isle. Printed on verso: Resting in Belle Isle Park. - Canoeing is the leading sport at Belle Isle, Detroit's largest playground. Its 702 acres are threaded by many miles of canals and lakes, affording an ideal spot in which the light little craft cruise about by thousands. Band concerts are given at the city's expense during the Summer afternoons and evenings and on such occasions the canoeists are present in great numbers. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 4, 1914.

- Color postcard depicting children standing in the water at the shore of Belle Isle. Printed on verso: With the Kids at Belle Isle. - Detroit's principal recreation spot is an Island in the Detroit River connected with the City by a bridge 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boats of over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine Zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,600,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. Printed on verso: The New Bath House on Belle Isle is the most beautiful building of its kind in the country. It was erected in 1908 at a cost of about $50,000 and has accommodations for 1,300 people. A minimum charge is made and patrons are supplied with suits and towels. The scene here depicted is a common occurrence on a warm summer's day. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 13, 1910.

Handwritten message on verso reads: Dear Mary, The Furniture came yesterday, and it was in the house today, three or four chairs are broken. I will tell you more about it tomorrow night in a letter, one of them is a dining chair, "Hard Luck". Do you want a trunk yet? […] has one here that he wants to sell, he wants a larger one. I think his is about the right size. I think he will let me have it for about $1.50 or $2.00. Let me know. - Herbert"

- Black and white postcard depicting the Belle Isle Bridge, in the aftermath of the fire, as viewed from the west. Amid the columns, only one truss remains near the center of the frame. An insert in the upper left corner provides a view along the remains of the length of the bridge. Rubble sits in the water near the closest column. A single truss is in the distance. "W.D. - Postcard. Color postcard entitled "Campus Martius, Detroit, Mich." The elevated view looks northward along Woodward Avenue with the Old City Hall and Majestic Building on the left side of the image and Campus Martius and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument to the right. Pedestrians, streetcars, and several horse-drawn carriages are also visible. The Detroit Opera House and Wonderland Vaudeville can be seen in the right background. The number, "228," is printed near the lower right corner of the image. Printed text on the verso shows "Made in Germany. A. C. Besselman & Co., New York." The date of the postcard is based upon the postmark date.
