- North facade. Facing south.; This Italianate brick commercial building has an attached band of metal between the first and second stories which extends across 109 W. Michigan. Metal columns on a brick base frame the plate glass window next to a recessed entry. Original bracketed cornice and windows with hooded crowns between capped pilasters have been painted.

- North and west facades taken facing southeast; One and a half story, brick, cross gabled, Craftsman style house. Projecting front gable is roof of partial width porch. Brick support piers and solid brick balustrade. Slight arch in horizontal frieze board across porch. Wood shingles in peaks of front and side facing gables. Rectangular, shed roof bay on east facade. Massive, exterior, brick chimney on east facade. Wide overhanging eaves. Windows are three or four vertical lights over one. Diamond shaped shingle roof. Concrete block foundation.

- South and east facades. Facing northwest; Two-and-one-half story cross-gabled frame Queen Anne house with decorative trim in the gables. Small gable with overhanging roof and spindles on west facade has square colored glass window which is underscored with a small balcony. The full front porch with solid brackets and pedimented entry sits on wooden supports. An open one-story porch is attached to the rear. A two story bay on the south facade is adorned with half-timbering, reminiscent of the Tudor style. Half-timbering appears as wooden bands on the first and second stories. Windows are tall and narrow. There are three chimneys; one chimney on the south facade pierces the roofline and gable. Foundation covered with brick.

- North and east facades. Facing southwest.; This Craftsman style two story bungalow has a gable front with shed roof dormer on the west side of the roof. The porch across the front is supported by tapered piers. Detached garage. Picket fence in rear.

- North and east facades. Facing southwest.; This one-and-one-half story Cape Cod-Revival cottage has a wall dormer, pedimented door surround, and attached one car garage with cupola. There is a one- story wing on the south facade.

Full width porch has stocky, wood supports resting on cobblestone piers; and a solid cobblestone balustrade. Gabled dormer on front (west) facade with a ribbon of windows. Aluminum siding on first story; wood shingles on second story gables. Wide, overhanging eaves with triangular knee bracing and exposed rafters. Brick chimney on south facade. Windows are four vertical lights over one. Shed roof bay on south facade. Cobblestone foundation. Low cement wall across front of lawn which extends up the driveway. Detached, two car, hipped roof garage. Two sets of doors which fold open. Doors have six lights above and wood paneling below.
