- South and west facades taken facing northwest; One and a half story, side gabled, Craftsman style house. Full width porch under main roof with a slight break in the pitch where it extends over the porch. Gabled dormer in center front with a ribbon of windows. Rectangular bay on east facade. Wide sloping support piers which rest on solid wood balustrade. Wide overhanging eaves with triangle knee bracing, and some exposed rafters. Windows are three or four vertical lights over one. Screened porch at east rear contained under main roof. Modern, two car garage at rear.

- South and east facades. Facing northwest.; This Queen Anne style house has a hipped roof with lower cross gables and enclosed entry porch. The gables have a broken pediment, semi-circular windows, and fish scale siding. Both a bay window and a key hole window with stained glass fenestrate the east facade. The house sits on a brick foundation which extends in the rear to form a walk-out basement. It is sided with aluminum. Detached garage.

- North facade. Facing south.; Three story masonry commercial building with original painted Italianate features. Crown window hoods top a double row of windows separated by capped brick pilasters on the second and third levels. A bracketed cornice tops brick plasters on the first level. The recessed entry has been enclosed by a plate glass window with molding to match the front windows, and is adorned with fluted Corinthian pilasters. There is a small entry door to a stairway between 103 and 105 W. Michigan. The interior of 103 opens into 105 W. Michigan, as both are now used as one business.

Partial width, brick porch has a flat roof, square brick supports, and a solid brick balustrade. Wood railing on porch roof. Symmetrical facade. Cement urns on projecting arms of steps. Windows are six vertical lights over one, and many are paired. Brick foundation. Two car, brick, hipped roofed garage at rear.

- North and west facades taken facing southest; Two and a half story, Queen Anne style house. Hipped roof with lower cross gables. Spindlework detailing. Partial width porch has spindlework supports and balustrade. Sleeping porch above the front porch. Front and side gables have fishscale and plain shingles in peak. Front gable has a small semi-Palladian window in peak. Side gables have a pair of small square windows. Shingled beltcourse forms roof of porch and bay. Windows are one light over one. Stained glass window beside front door in flower pattern. Large screened porch on west rear. Two car garage at rear.

- South and east facades. Facing Northwest.; This gable end Folk House has a entry porch supported by curved brackets with cut-out pediment roof. There is a one story wing on the rear and an enclosed porch probably added to the east facade at a later date. The second story is covered with shingles, and the first story with aluminum.

- North and west facades taken facing southeast; One and a half story, gable front, Folk House. Full width enclosed porch with solid wood balustrade. Windows are four lights over four. Diamond shaped shingle roof. Additions to northeast and southeast rear. Detached, two car garage.

- East facade taken facing west; One story, red brick building. There is a thin band of plain concrete along cornice line. Recessed entry on south and north ends of storefronts. Two large windows beside each door with a strip of windows above. There is another large window in the recess. 101, the barber shop, has a projecting sign from above the door, and a traditional barber pole alongside the door. 103, "I'll Fix Dinner Tonight" has an awning which obscures the windows.
