- Full-length portrait of Kee-O-Kuck (variant spelling Keokuk) bare-chested holding a large spear and wearing a ceremonial dance bustle, trade silver armbands, a peace medal that appears to bear the likeness of Andrew Jackson, a headdress made of dyed red feathers, red face paint around his eyes, and white body paint in the form of stripes, bands and handprints.

- Pearce [Atkinson] ALS to Papa [George W.P. Atkinson], November 9, 1879. s.l., page 6. From a collection of papers containing correspondence between Atkinson and his parents, written primarily in the 1890s. The majority of the letters date from his time at Lehigh University and early engineering career with the Union Pacific Railway. These letters include descriptions of his college life and later railroad work in the mountains of Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado.
