The postcard shows a color image of the front of the Aquarium building on Belle Isle along with many visitors who are walking on the sidewalk near the entrance or are seated on park benches at the edges of the walkway. Printed text on the verso gives details about the aquarium and shows "Published by United News Co., Detroit, Mich."

Color postcard depicting aerial view of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the center foreground, the Merrill Fountain is in the central foreground, and the Detroit Opera House is directly behind. Wonderland Vaudeville is depicted to the right of the opera house. The thoroughfares are aligned with streetcars, pedestrians and horse carriages. A note is written on the verso to Miss Florence Ward of Alanson, Mich. The date of the postcard is determined by the postmark, not when it was produced.

- Color postcard depicting a fountain in Capitol Park, with buildings and a view down Griswold Street in the background. A sign reads, "John Winter & Co. General Insurance". Printed on verso: Capitol Square Park, situated in the business district of the city, is one of the many small breathing spots which Detroit's Park and Boulevard Commission keeps beautiful the year round. It takes its name from the fact that, for several years, the building housing the Michigan offices occupied the property, before the center of government was transferred to Lansing. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked May 19, 1909.

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view of Grand Circus Park facing west, with the Church of Our Father, Hotel Tuller, Hotel Charlevoix, and Fine Arts Building in the background. Printed on verso: West Grand Circus Park, Tuller Hotel, etc. This Park is the oldest of Detroit's recreation grounds and is situated in the heart of the city through which runs the famous Woodward Avenue. This Park was set aside by the city in 1854, and is enjoyed by thousands in summer on account of its magnificent shade trees. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Feb 18, 1914.

- Color postcard depicting a patterned flowerbed on Belle Isle, with a bridge over a canal in the background. Printed on verso: Pansy Bed, Belle Isle. Detroit's principal recreation spot is an island in the Detroit river connecting with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. Handwritten message on verso, dated Mar 2, 1911.
