- This view shows the decorated arch for the Centennial Celebration. Several horse-drawn wagons are on the street. A restaurant on the left advertises soda water and ice cream, breakfast, dinner and supper, and 25 cent oysters. Sweet's Hotel is behind the arch on the left.

- Monroe St. looking northwest. Front view of three Victorian row buildings of four stories each, plus a corner view of fourth building which juts out from the others and has an elaborate clock tower on top. The three flat buildings are labeled “12 Foster, Stevens & Co. 10”, “Spring and Co.”, and “Gilbert”. The Gilbert building houses Studley & Barclay and the Grand Rapids Rubber Store. The clock tower building houses L. Higer and Sons (clothiers).

- The building is a large but simple shed-style hangar, with five small-paned windows along one side and a large sliding door (partially open) at the end. Multiple floodlights are mounted on the roof of the building, aimed at the roof, sides and ends of the building. There is also a windsock mounted at the peak of the roof. Two automobiles are parked in front of the building. The yard is of dirt, with some sparse grass.
