- One drawing entitled "Plans for a Fire-Proof Comparator Room at Fort Wayne." The drawing (sheet 2 of 3) shows elevation and cross-section views of the proposed one-story brick building. A plan view of the roof is also shown along with a detail of the chimney flue. The plan was "made under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A., and E. E. Haskell, Principal Asst. Engineer" at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated February, 1904.

The drawing consists of red and black ink on linen and shows front and side elevation views of a proposed 2-story laboratory building. A building cross-section detail is also shown along with a plan detail which shows the building being bounded by Atwater Street, McDougall Ave., and Guoin Street. The plan was prepared by "Carl Schmid, Archt. [Architect], 465 Grand River Ave." at a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet and is dated 1885.

- One architectural drawing entitled "Store House, Fort Wayne, Michigan, Office A.A.Q.M. [Acting Assistant Quarter Master], November, 1889." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view and first floor plan view of the fort Store House. The two-story building had six windows, two doors, and a loading dock along the front. Small porches at each end of the building provided access to offices and issuing rooms. The building had storage areas on the lower (basement/cellar), first floor, and upper levels. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left corner shows "Frederick D. Griffith, Pvte., Co. G, 23rd Infantry, Draughtsman. Dec., 1889." Printed text in the lower right corner shows "P. E. File Nr. 4475."

- One set of architectural drawings for a residential house located on East Grand Boulevard. The drawings (Job 250) consist of red and black ink on linen and show elevation view, a wall cross-section detail,a dn floor plans of a proposed 3-story home on East Grand Boulevard for "Mr. Albert E. Arndt, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." The drawings, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, were part of a set of eight sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the versos to highlight various architectural details. The house was located on the west side of E. Grand Blvd. between Forest and Canfield.

Gun platform and casemate numbers are shown along with brief status/condition notes. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1 inch = 25 feet. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Prepared in accordance with Printed Circular from the Office of the Chief Engineers, Washington, D.C., January 20, 1872," and is signed, "G. L. Gillespie, Major of Engineers." A second handwritten note shows "Note: Alterations in Report Jan. 16th 1874, in red. See Capt. M. B. Adams, USE, report and letter to me of Nov. 3 '75. C. E. Blunt, Lt. Col. Engrs."

- One architectural drawing entitled "Dix Ave. Elevation" and "Waterman St. Elevation." The drawing (Job 245) consists of red and black ink on linen and shows two elevation views and a wall cross-section detail for an existing 2-story hotel that was to be remodeled from 13 guest rooms to 21 guest rooms. The work was being done for "Mr. John C. Garvey, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of seven sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. John C. Garvey was the proprietor of the Michigan Central Stock Yards Hotel which was located at the corner of Dix Avenue and Waterman Street in southwest Detroit.

The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a side elevation view of the proposed addition. The four-story building was to be constructed of brick and stone with wood trim and a slate roof. Building height dimensions are given at the right side of the drawing which is shown at a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet. Printed text in the lower right corner shows "Bldg. #209" and "P. E. - Two architectural drawings with first entitled "Plans for Seven Stores and Twenty-One Apartments Located on the North-West Corner of Michigan and Wesson Aves., Detroit, Michigan" and the second entitled "Elevation to Wesson Ave." The drawings (Job No. 282) consist of red and black ink on linen and show front and rear elevation views of a proposed 3-story retail/apartment building. On the first drawing, the name, "Soldoris," is shown over the apartment entrance doorway on Michigan Avenue. The title block in the lower right corner of the first sheet shows that the drawing (part of a set of eight sheets) was prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Some blue, green and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details.

The drawing consists of black and red ink on linen and shows the configuration of the outer walls of the fort. Gun platform and casemate numbers are shown as well as wall heights. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1 inch = 50 feet. Handwritten text near the lower right corner of the fort shows "Note: The figures in red designate the number of each gun platform adopted in accordance with Dept. Circular of July 28, 1864. Those upon the outside of the scarp, at the flanks, are the numbers of the Casemate guns in front of which they are placed. The references (in black) on the scarp wall indicate the height to which it has been constructed, the level of the ditch being (9')."
