The lands were shared by the DBMC and the General Aeroplane Club for several years. (circa 1914)

This scene represents one of the many bridges on Belle Isle. The main sport is canoeing and when Band Concerts are in progress during the summer month, hundreds of canoes can be seen on the different canals. Printed by C.T. American Art (A-2726). (circa 1920)
