The steamers Pleasure and Tashmoo, loading with excursionists,, bound respectively for Belle Isle and the St. Clair Flats. Thousands of people take in the popular trips these steamers afford. - Postcard. Color postcard entitled, "Campus Martius, The Hub of Detroit, Mich." The elevated view of Campus Martius depicts the Bagley Memorial Fountain in the foreground, the Majestic Building is behind the greenspace, and the Detroit Opera House is in the central right background. Streetcars, automobiles, and pedestrians line the thoroughfare. Printed on verso, "Campus Martius, Detroit, Mich. Campus Martius is a public square, located in the center of the business section of Detroit. It was named by Judge Woodward in 1806, the word meaning military camp." The date of the postcard is determined by the postmark on verso, not when the postcard was produced.

- Color postcard depicting people canoeing on a Belle Isle canal lined with trees. Printed on verso: Canoeing, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. Canoeing is the leading sport at Belle Isle. Its 702 acres are covered by many miles of Canals and Lakes. When Free Band Concerts are in progress during the summer months, hundreds of canoes dot the different canals and make a pretty sight.
