- Color postcard depicting the tower and floral clock in Water Works Park, with several people visible on the path and two smokestacks in the background. Printed on verso: Floral Clock and Driveway, Water Works Park. The 72-acre plot of ground on Jefferson Avenue, owned by the city and partially occupied by its waterworks pumping station, has been made one of Detroit's beauty spots. The water supply is pumped through a long tunnel from Lake St. Clair to the distributing point. The Park is noted for its big floral clock and the memorial at the entrance. The grizzly, polar and black bears have their appropriate pits. The enclosures are constantly thronged with visitors watching the playful antics of the bears in the water. Printed on verso: Monroe Avenue, Detroit, Mich. Monroe Avenue is Detroit's Great Amusement thoroughfare. Here are located the Temple, Family, Columbia Royale and National Theatres; also any number of Nickel Shows. The electric display at night is very brilliant and here we follow the crowd in the evening. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 15, 1918.

A park area with trees is visible in the right foreground area. The number, "1322," is printed in the lower left corner. The verso has a handwritten note in blue ink and a black ink postmark that shows "Hamtramck, Mich."

Signs read "Pennsylvania Lines", "Union Ticket Office", "Wright, Kay & Co.", and "Temple Theatre, Wonderland, Vaudeville". Printed on verso: Detroit Opera House and Palmer Fountain. - This beautiful fountain was donated to the city by Mrs. Thos. W. Palmer several years ago. It is located on the Campus Martius which was reserved as a breathing spot in the "Governor and Judges" plan, adopted for the city in its earliest history. The Opera House is one of the finest in the country and caters to high class shows only. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr 10, 1910.
