- Notes:
- An exterior photo, taken for the Grand Rapids Times, of the United Men's Shop at 351 Monroe NW, the southwest corner of Monroe and Michigan. This corner building is painted a light color with decorative trim between the first and second floor, and it has three large windows displaying men's shirts, ties, shoes, hats and scarves, a belt and slacks, all marked with price tags. The building is marked United Men's Shop, “Store for Men”, Shoes and Men's furnishings. Above the center door is a sign that says Entrance Round the Corner 206 Michigan. Between the display windows on the right is a barber's pole and a sign advertising Barber Shop, Melvin Clemence, Hair Cut 25 cents and Shave 15 cents. The upper floor of this building is brick with multiple double hung windows. One window has a sign posted for Dr. English.

- Although the location is unknown, the image is included to show a barber shop. The estimated date is based on the image's presence in a collection dating mostly to this period. This image is one of four composited on one photograph print sized 5 x 8". The three other images are identified as 2015-06-003.V6.017a-c.
