- View if north end of the 300 block, east side. Covers six stores. Working south from East Shiawassee: Winkin' Pup Bar at 338, Leonard Wholesale Distributing storage at 334, Larry's Lunch at 332, Town Pump Bar at 328, American Cleaners at 326 and Leonard Wholesale Distributing at 322 North Washington Avenue. City Planning Division staff trimmed two photographs to make this composite. Because the images were taken at different times, automobiles seen in one portion are absent from the other. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece: "G6" and "G7".

- The State Journal building is seen on East Lenawee Street at Grand Street. A B C Cleaners, a barber shop and the side of a bar tavern are seen on the south side of the street. City Planning Division staff notations identify the location.

- Description:
- Mohawk Tire Sales was at 418-420 North Washington Avenue. The building to the left, that is, north, is thought to be Bradley's Lounge based on the 1958 City Directory. No signs, however, are legible in the photo. Three doors are seen below a sign, "Entrance to Dancing." The city directory describes the Lounge as a beer garden with no mention of dancing, nor is dancing mentioned anywhere else in the area.

- A team of six Clydesdale horses and the Anheuser-Busch beer wagon with an unidentified man, possibly an employee from a downtown tavern, on North Washington Avenue in downtown Lansing. The horses and wagon made a national tour, visiting various Budweiser distributors in many towns, in 1950. In Lansing, they paraded through downtown on August 19, and again on August 21. Behind them, Pat and Larry's Cocktail Lounge, Lansing Dry Cleaners, the Furniture Exchange, and other businesses can be seen in the 300 block of North Washington Avenue. City Planning Division staff trimmed two photographs for assembly into composite views. The images do not match perfectly; gaps have intentionally been left in the composition shown. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece: "F30" and "F29".
