- Ken Germanson, Allied Industrial Workers international union staff member, AIW newspaper editor, and president of the Wisconsin Labor History Society (WLHS), talks with Michigan State University Labor and Industrial Relations Professor Emeritus John Revitte via telephone. Germanson and Revitte discuss topics to cover in future calls and then Germanson talks about the WLHS, its mission, and his involvement. Germanson talks "Bay View massacre" in Milwaukee in May 1886 and how the WLHS has raised awareness about this piece of Wisconsin labor history. He also describes other WLHS efforts and explains why he is so active in the organization. Germanson talks about his family and his father's job in a tannery, and his own work experience as a newspaper writer and a union activist with the International Newspaper Guild. Part 3 of 7.

- Marjorie Koehler talks about her career at REO Motor Car Company/Diamond-Reo Trucks, Inc., in Lansing, MI, from 1947 to 1975. She says that her grandfather and father were working at REO when she came on board, after working for the State of Michigan, the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) and the Works Projects Administration (WPA). She describes working in the payroll and catalog departments at REO, shares stories of the REO Clubhouse, employee picnics and the annual employee fair and says that working at REO was much better than Oldsmobile, where her husband was worked. The interviewers are Shirley Bradley and Lisa Fine. Recorded as part of REO Memories oral history project.

- Michigan State University freshman Mari Nord talks about her Japanese and Norwegian heritage, her professor father and businesswoman mother, living in East Lansing, and her great love for traveling. Nord describes Japanese culture, the Japanese education system, and learning the language while in nursery school. She says that she feels torn between Japanese and American culture and gets along best at MSU with international students. She talks about adjusting to college life, majoring in veterinary medicine, and hoping to work with endangered species and says that she does not simply want to have a job and family if that means settling down in one place.

- Betty talks about her Russian-Jewish ancestry, leaving home in Toronto at 16 to avoid cultural obligations, and coming to the U.S. She hired into Fisher in 1946 and again in May 1948.
