- Print (2 copies). Black and white halftone photographic print depicting the exterior of the Eighth Precinct Police Station on Grand River Avenue and Myrtle Street (now Martin Luther King Boulevard). The station is composed of two structures, topped with several conical towers, and linked by a small arch. Both copies are mounted on linen backings, however the more damaged of the two retains less of the paper border surrounding the image.

- Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print of a young woman in a hat, coat, and skirt posing in the snow. The photo was taken near the corner of Grand River Avenue and Ash Street. A horse-drawn streetcar passes in the street behind her. Utility poles and several buildings are visible along the street. "Mathie Brssie, Taken on Grd River ave + Ash Str. 1890 or 02. Student at Cass School" handwritten on verso in blue. "M. Wesson Dickinson, July 26, 52" handwritten below in black.

The view looks southwestward and shows the northeast corner of a new 10-story, decorative brick and stone building addition along W. Elizabeth Street. The new addition has a similar style to the existing structure (darker brick) that can be seen on the right side of the photo. A small section of W. Elizabeth Street can be seen in the lower right corner area of the photo. Printed text along the lower edge shows "Service Bldg. - Progress - N.E. Elev." and "10-19-27, M-18660."
