- Woman's two piece beige shantung suit. The collarless cropped jacket has padded shoulders. Its long straight sleeves continue across the shoulders and bodice in a triangular shape. The jacket has insets of brown and gold raw silk at the chest, top of the front closing, and on the sleeves. The unlined, gored, A-line shirt has a high 3" wide waistband with a hook and eye closure. Side zipper. Raw silk brown and gold insets at the center front of the skirt, with two multi-color tabs at the waistband. Label: Adrian Original.

- Description:
- Womn's three piece, creamy white wool knit tennis dress. The hip length jacket (a) has a small collar, and long, straight sleeves that botton closed at the cuff. It has two side pockets, and a single button closing below the bust for freedom of movement. The mid calf skirt (b) has pleats at its sides, and a hook and eye side closing. The V-neck dickey (c) is sideless, and sleeveless. It is a slip-on garment with elastic ties at its sides. Worn by donor's mother, Marion Scherer Livingstone.

- This long sleeved woman's dress of black wool wool has a "V" shaped front insert of black Persian lamb at the neckline as well as a similar insert in back from neck to hemline. There are two square gold buttons 1 1/4" at shoulder on left side. The dress has a waist line with a fold of material down left side and pleats hooked by ribbon on inside. The left side fastening has seven eyes and one hook. The belt has two gold buttons, and a leather lining. The matching black Persian lamb, short cape has a small pointed collar. The cape has a black tassel near its collar to hook the cape. A fold of V-shape material is along the back. The back length is 30.5". There is a label on the inside of the collar that reads: Julie, Inc. Fisher Building, Detroit.

- Woman's fine wale cotton corduroy jacket/poncho having a black with white figural print of flute players and animals. The jacket is lined with quilted black nylon, and has a knit neckband. Circle of fabric with hole for head, roughly elbow length. Fabric has a Picasso signature. Label: "Picasso Copyright 1963, by White Stag" and "White Stag, White Stag Mft. Co., Portland Oregon."

- Light weight, navy blue crepe day coat with padded shoulders, no collar. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

- This black crepe, loose-fitting women's coat has a very wide black Persian lamb fur collar. The long, loose sleeves are heavily embroidered with flower and leaf patterns in rust, turquoise and gold metallic threads. The coat is fastened by one button at the center front and a snap at the throat. The lining is rust colored crepe. Label: "Importers, B. Siegel Co., Detroit, Mich."

- This rose colored woman's two piece wool knit dress has a top with an overall pattern of overlapping horizontal ribbed squares, 3/4 length raglan sleeves with ribbed cuffs, and a round neckline with a ribbed turn-over collar. There is a 6" neck zipper, and a ribbed bottom with belt loops for 3/4" self belt with a brass buckle. The straight skirt has a wide vertical ribbed pattern and an elasticized waistband. Label (in top): "Created by Chevy Chase Knitwear Mills, Inc."

- This man's beaver fur overcoat is double breasted and fastens in the front with five "frogs" and ten fur covered buttons. it has a slash pocket on each side, and two breast pockets in its interior. The sleeves have turn-back cuffs, and the coat is lined with black sateen. The beaver pelts were obtained from American Indians living north of Grand Marais on Lake Superior in 1883. The pelts were sent to New York City to be dressed. They were then returned to Detroit, and made into an overcoat by Dickerson & Co which was located at 80 Woodward Avenue (old number). It was made for Ira F. Holt who was a ship owner, and had passenger boats running from Duluth down the north shore of Lake Superior.

- Woman's printed silk chiffon cocktail dress. The fabric design shows a brown and black, stylized floral pattern. The dress is mid-calf length, and has a swirling bias-cut skirt with underlayers of brown chiffon and brown crepe. The bodice has a wide "U" neckline with double cowl collar, and has double ties at back. Long, straight sleeves with zipper closing at wrists. Black button back closing. Wide burnt-orange velvet belt with covered buckle. Label: "Galanos." Worn by Detroit area clothier Irene Miller.

- Woman's winter coat of black novelty wool with Russian sable collar, and wide lapels. The coat is double breasted, has long narrow sleeves, and six black plastic disc buttons. One large patch pocket is on each side. The coat has a heavy ivory satin lining, and two mother-of-pearl buttons inside. Label: Traina Norell, N.Y., and Julie, Inc. Fisher Building Detroit.
