- One black and white re-photograph of Woodward Avenue near the Detroit River. The elevated view looks southward along the east side of Woodward just south of Jefferson Avenue, and shows a busy street scene with many storefronts, pedestrians, automobiles, and streetcars. Business names include the Central Hotel, Schiappacasse & Co. Wholesale Fruits, and Hiram Marks Electric. Ship docks at the riverfront can be seen near the upper right corner of the photo.

- Black and white print negative taken of a sepia-toned cabinet card depicting the West Side Brewery Company's Beer Restaurant. The Gebhard Paper Company is next door. Handwritten note on verso identifies this as being on the south east corner of Woodbridge Street and Woodward Avenue, taken on April 23, 1897.

- Sepia-tone photo of the entrance to the Woodward Theatre in the National Clothing Systems building on the east side of Woodward Avenue, between Campus Martius and Gratiot Avenue, as taken from the west side of Woodward. A sign above the entrance advertises the film, "The Great Love." The storefront for L. Black Optician, is located to the south. An early automobile is parked in front of L. Black's, several pedestrians are on the sidewalk. A covered walkway has been set up along the sidewalk north of the theatre, suggesting construction on the Newcomb-Endicott Company building above.

- Mounted, sepia-toned photographic print taken of the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue from an elevated position in Campus Martius, facing northwest. The streets are filled with crowds of people and a row of horse carriages is proceeding west on Michigan Avenue, possibly as a funeral procession. Visible signs on storefronts include, Job Printing, a jewelry store, and L.L. Farnsworth's Shoe Store in the corner building. To the right, in the Fisher Block is Randall's Daguerrean Gallery, and in the neighboring building, Weber Furniture Company's Warerooms. "Campus A.D. 1870" and "Detroit, Mich." are handwritten in marker in the photo's upper left and right corners. The photo is mounted on black cardstock with an embossed frame around the photo. "C.C. Brewe, Com'l Photographer, 205 Griswold St. Detroit, Mich" stamped on verso. "Mrs. Roy Chatfield" handwritten on verso along with an illegible address.

- Mounted black and white photo of the aerial apparatuses of the Detroit Fire Department's Ladder Companies No.1 and No.3 being used to fight a fire at the Goldberg Brothers' department store on the west side of Woodward Avenue between Grand River and Clifford Street, as viewed from across the street to the northeast. Firefighters work amid broken windows and display cases along the base of the building. A large clearance banner and a "Store for rent" sign are posted on the Grinnell Brothers' Music House next door to Goldberg Brothers. Clough and Warren Company, Pianos; Wood's Ladies Haus; and the William B. Elliott Company are also posted along the block. Several bystanders are also in frame. The photo is mounted on black matte board, with a border relief around the image. "Fred G. Wright, Detroit, Mich. 115 Gratiot Ave. Phone MAIN 5488," is stamped on the verso.
