Inscribed on photo back: radiator ornaments, Packard radiator cap mascot "Adonis, official name of this mascot is also known as "Dauphin," "Daphne at the Well," etc., designed by Edward McCarten - New York City, patent applied for 11/7/1928, design patent #79,561 10/6/1929, introduced on sixth series Packards, discontinued with introduction of tenth series, December 1932.
