Lace and Black Silk Velvet Evening Dress, 1927

Description:: Black silk velvet dress trimmed with ecru machine lace. Lace forms pattern around V-neckline and down left side of the dress. Bodice tucked around hips and neckline. Long sleeves have 4-button closure at wrist. Attached belt has large yellow metal buckle that matches buttons on sleeves. Clothing label: Stein & Blaine/New York. Additional label sewn to back of main label: Stein & Blaine/13 AND 15 WEST 57TH STREET/NEW YORK. Typed on back of additional label: Mrs. Harvey Firestone/Date August 22, 1927/No. 82405/Dept. Bergman.
