Notes:

Very deteriorated fragment of woven wool fabric with plied yellow warp and yellow and brown weft. At one end there are two bands of overlapping leaf motifs formed with yellow weft-wrapping on a brown background. The outer band is 4 cm wide, the inner band is 3 cm wide. At the opposite end there is another band of weft-wrapping which forms two rows of figure eight motifs. This band is more deteriorated than the other bands. The center of the fragment has large sections of weft missing. There are many areas where the wefts encircle the warps. Some of the wefts in this area were twined with loops passing over two warps each. There is a small remnant of selvedge at one edge of the leaf motif bands.
