Black and white photographic print depicting the Godfrey Block and several adjacent storefronts on Woodward Avenue, near Gratiot Avenue. The visible businesses along this row include John Harvey, Drugs and Medicine; D.M. Ferry and Company; William C. House and Company; Pixley and Cleveland, Mattresses, Bedding, and Furniture; a sewing machine store; a book binder; Freedman and Brothers; and the Weber Furniture Company's Warehouse. A horse-drawn wagon and carriage are stopped along the sidewalk. "1870's" handwritten on verso, along with "M-1847-6" in pen and "Dept. Report & Info. Comm." stamped.
