Old Newsboy, identified as Homer S. Ferguson, sells newspaper to young woman, with group of people watching. "In 1914 James J. Brady founded the Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit (Detroit Goodfellows), he, along with a small group of Detroit-area businessmen, sold newspapers on the street corners of Detroit to raise money to purchase Christmas gift packages for underprivileged children," from America's Charities website.
