Fragment of Oil-Flask; Karanis; Glass vessels; Glass

Notes:
Colorless glass with greenish tinge. Fragment comprising neck, rim and handles. Rim well outsplayed and folded up and in, leaving a very small mouth opening. The mouth is pressed in on top to a very deep concavity. Neck cylindrical. Shoulder sloping. Body globular. Handles made of thick coil of similar glass and set in the hollow between the rim and the shoulder. The coil is so folded as to leave a small circular opening through which a metal bucket-handle was originally threaded. Frosted. Some bubbles.
