Description:
This Zenaloy rocking chair, in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art, consists of thermosetting resin reinforced with dark tone molded fiberglass arm shell on a zinc plated metal wire base. The chair is padded and covered with dark ultramarine hopsak upholstery with gray vinyl edging and sits on birch rockers. According to the 1965 Herman Miller Trade Catalogue, the light weight rocker is ideal for reading, relaxing, and use by the young mother.
