Sepia-toned photograph depicting a completed Eagle Boat hull being positioned on the launch elevator at the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, as taken from off of its port bow. Workers and spectators are observing the process. The Launch Control Building stands on the left side of the photo. After launching, the boat will be moved to the outfitting station, also located on the Rouge River. The caption, "Ship in position on elevator," is on the verso. Lower right hand corner of photo has number and date of photo: 22857-8-19-18. Photo mounted on a linen backing.
