Karanis; Textiles; Wool; undecorated

Notes:
The above measurements do not reflect warp and weft direction as this piece consists of one large and three small fragments of the same brown woven wool fabric. Two shades of brown were used for the warp. Several different sewing yarns were used to attach the smaller pieces. There is a circular burr-like structure that has adhered to the surface, possibly part of a plant seed pod (?).
