Herman Miller Occasional Chair

Description:
This Occasional Chair, in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art, consists of a molded plastic shell which sits on a metal base with four legs. The shell is padded and covered with a red and orange, hopsak upholstery on the back and arms while the seat is covered with gold hopsak. The chair is finished with a magenta edging. This object was designed for Braniff Airlines lobby. Herman Miller Series: The Girard Group
