"Father Devine's Teachings New Day 5 [cents]" and "Housewife's Lunch" are painted on window to the right; "Housewife's Lunch" on the left window is partially obscured; sign leaning on exterior of the building reads "Eat with Ferguson." A cloth awning hangs from the exterior of the building. Printed on back: "National Press, Chicago." Handwritten on back: "November 9, 1940; Letter received thanks. Will enclose card for reply at your convenience hereafter. H.S.T." Card is postmarked November 9, 1940.
