Postcard. Color postcard depicting the Knights of the Maccabees Temple from Woodward Avenue. A tall leafless tree stands in the foreground. Handwritten note on verso. Postmarked Aug. 22 1912. Handwritten message on verso reads: Dear Mary, The Furniture came yesterday, and it was in the house today, three or four chairs are broken. I will tell you more about it tomorrow night in a letter, one of them is a dining chair, "Hard Luck". Do you want a trunk yet? […] has one here that he wants to sell, he wants a larger one. I think his is about the right size. I think he will let me have it for about $1.50 or $2.00. Let me know. - Herbert"
