The young man standing by the Derby car, wearing an Ottawa Hills High School sweater, may be Robert Townsend, 16 years old in 1937 (1940 Census record). The Derby car is sponsored by the Grand Rapids Herald. Men in the picture may be from the the Grand Rapids Herald.
