Rome; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:
Pinkish buff clay with faint traces of red slip. Semicircular nozzle extends part way across rim and ends in straight groove with small stamped circle on either side. Impressed design on rim. Rim separated from discus by band set off by circular grooves. Small hole broken in discus (piece is in lamp). In center of discus is winged figure (Cupid) blowing on double pipe. Ring handle with double groove on upper half and single on lower. Circular groove about base in which small hole is broken. Incised stamp /ONCTE/
