Fragment; Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Buff micaceous clay with traces of brown glaze. Fragment of lamp. Heart shaped nozzle extending part way across rim. Wide undecorated rim separated from discus by band set off by grooves. On discus, winged Eros riding on a dolphin, right. Small air hole on discus at base of nozzle. Ring handle, two grooves on upper half, one on lower. Left under side of lamp and most of base missing but enough left to show base ring set off by grooves. Broken and mended. End of nozzle blackened. Lamp is much worn.
