One drawing entitled, "3/4" Wharf Drop Proposed for Providence, Fall River and Newport Steamboat Co., Narragansett Pier Dock." The drawing (No. 5804) consists of black ink on linen and shows details of the mechanical workings of a wharf drop. The drops were used for transferring freight between the ship and wharf. The plan was prepared at a scale of 1 1/2 inches = 1 foot by the "American Ship Windlass Co., Providence, R.I., U.S.A." and is dated May 16, 1898.
