Carthage; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:

Crudely made lamp of light buff clay with traces of dark reddish slip. Heart-shaped nozzle extends part way across the rim, which has a moulded design. Small boat with sail decorates discus, with a seated figure rowing to the right. Solid moulded handle with two grooves on its upper half. Base ring is set off with grooves.
