Black and white print of collection of five engravings titled "One of the Great Industries of Detroit Illustrated," collected from sketched by C. Upham, taken from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, August 10, 1889. The five engravings, from top to bottom, are: 1. Michigan Car Company's Shop. 2. Detroit Car Wheel Foundry. 3. Detroit Pipe Foundry. 4. Baugh Steam Forge Company. 5. General View of the Plant of these Establishments. The first three engravings are interior views of the plants, depicting men at work in the shops and foundries. The last two engravings are exterior views depicting the lands and buildings of the industries. Mounted on cardboard.
